The Troop 80 Summer Camp at Camp Kia Kima in Hardy, Arkansas was spectacular! The scouts had a great time earning merit badges, participating in fun activities, meeting new friends, and exploring and discovering new places.

Our trip started with a stop over in Marshall, Texas where scouts rode a train and explored the local area.
Scoutmaster Ken did an excellent job at keeping the scouts organized, entertained and safe.

And of course the views were SPECTACULAR…the locals call this place God’s Country and you can see why….

Welcome back scouts, parents, and volunteers!
Troop 80 is online again and going to make 2015 the best scouting year ever! We have activities lined up for the next 6 months and look forward to everyone’s participation.
On Saturday, January 24th we’ll meet at the Scout house for the annual Scout Food Drive. We’ll be hanging food drive donation hangers in the neighborhood. Additionally, we’ll be helping our Eagle Scout candidate Nolan with his Eagle project on Saturday and Sunday.

Troop 80 will be embarking on their Webelos Woods camp out the weekend of November 21 and we are excited to have some of our Pack 80 cubs meeting our Scouts.

Summer Camp is here!
When: Planning on going from Saturday May 31th thru Wednesday June 4th.
Where: Lake Amistad is located next to Del Rio, Tx (Mr. Walker’s Home Town) and is approximately a 6 hours drive west of Houston.

The scouts attending the meeting today have made the following selections for camping activities for the 2013-2014 year. The troop selected 6 camping events with 2 backup events in case there is no availability in their first six selections.

Scouts and parents! It’s almost time for summer camp so here are a few things you need to know.
First, please make sure you fill out the appropriate medical form so you and your scout can attend. You can find the form here.
Second, there are a list of fees here for scouts participating in various merit badge activities.
Third, our camping activity will take place at Bear Creek near San Antonio.
